Subject: [peace-announce] Court solidarity needed twice this week; monday, january 10 - 9.m. Boston: DNC TRIAL - JAKE and thursday, january 13 - 9 a.m. Cambridge, MA: AIMEE SMITH'S TRIAL

----------COURT SOLIDARITY DETAILS
DNC TRIAL - JAKE
monday, january 10 // 9am @ boston municipal courthouse, courtroom 30, post office square (T: downtown crossing)

Please come to court in solidarity with Jake, one of the three people arrested during the DNC. He faces a charge of disorderly conduct. The case will initially be called in room 30 but will be reassigned to a different room for trial. Even if you can't stay for the whole trial, it would be great to come for the time you can and support our comrade.

=====================================

AIMEE SMITH'S TRIAL
Thursday, january 13 // 9am @ cambridge courthouse, 13th floor (T: lechemere)

Aimee Smith is facing trial after being harrassed and arrested by the same cop who previously arrested her while she tries to exercise her first amendment rights. The previous trial was resceduled from December after the prosecution brought previously undisclosed "witness statements" (from 2 more cops!) into the courtroom. Especially those in MIT COMMUNITY please attend. MIT cops need to be stopped in their abusive tracks. Recently an Eqyptian student was harrassed by a new MIT recruit. A strong message of zero tolerance for bullying copy
behavior needs to be sent.
