s6k has been consulting with the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation [GJDC] in Jamaica, Queens, NY, to
help develop and deploy community building projects. The energy for
this project is amazing and the GJDC has been a gracious partner with
chashama creating an artistic / cultural hub to foster community growth
and betterment. s6k Video is currently in discussions with multiple Slam/Performance Poetry winner, Rachel Kann
to produce a new video/minidoc. Her energy and talent is magnetic and
explosive. Her direct delivery brings forth an unrelenting vision of
human empowerment and frailty. We are looking forward to this project.
Our Purpose Lounge project has been asked to present the visions of our community project to the finders of the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, NYC. This is an incredible opportunity for us. We are also beginning our 3rd year at a new location. Our new location is 147-12 Archer Avenue, Jamaica, Queens.
Our launch event will be Thursday, October 14th, 5pm to 9pm.
