Today marks the 3rd anniversary of http://www.s6k.com. Thank you for all your support. Over the past year a glimpse of some of our accomplishments include:
• We have been forced to upgrade our site to handle increased traffic • We have aided in the re-election of Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney • We have added new writers with expert backgrounds who have already shown extensive contributions to http://www.s6k.com. • In lieu of the 20 year anniversary of Abstinence we launched http://www.s6k.com/abstinence/ • We have undertaken a series of community actions resulting in the creation of one of the 1st celebrations for a central Bed-Stuy community in over a decade • Working with Positive Health Project (http://www.positivehealthproject.org), we have executed a condom distribution and sexual education program. • s6k arts has undertaken a DVD documentary series starting with the Fall 2005 release of Behind The Mask, the Life And Art of Douglas P. of Death In June. • We co-produced an invisible theater piece in Harlem called the One Manhattan Project that will be used as a prelude to discussions on gentrification in community forums in the Harlem area.
In the coming months we will be giving s6k.com a facelift to keep up to date with the flood of information and activities we have undertaken and foresee in the immediate future.
