In the early part of the 21st century, a few dozen humans, surrounded by perfectly designed algorithms connected to the human mainframe, set out to bring the programming of human aural entertainment back within the human sphere.
About a dozen or so of these humans have launched an initiative directly at the genre splitters of planet Earth. Our zone is known as the "Impact Arena." We broadcast under the name "Impact Arena RAID-io."
The Zik-Zak Corporation has reinstated "Operation Serendipity" against Impact Arena RAID-io, so we have moved from our former broadcasting host WFKU and have partnered with the Blanks, who've been
able to rebroadcast the IA RAID-io signal via PodOmatic. This means you'll now be able to hear our weekly broadcasts whenever you like, subscribe to our broadcasts, get programs from our archive [all on this page] or pull our RSS feed and more from s6k's PodOmatic Broadcast Page.
Special note: There have been digital defectors that are now willing to be known; [US] Kate, Heather, [UK] Audrey, Lucy, Peter, [Germany] Klara, Sarah, [Pakistan] Salma, Youssef, [Venezuela] Maria, Alberto, [Italy] Vittoria, [Sweden] Emma, [France] Alain, Juliette are all born of the digital world and are currently working with IA RAID-io. They have been doing most of our announcements and are featured on our promotional video. In addition, they have been fearlessly executing special "black ops" offensives in the digital world in our name. click here to check in at our Facebook event page...and leave a message. :)
Each broadcast has two segments: ROOM 101 & SCANNEd In ROOM 101 we present music to you; it's where "4" is what you/we say it is. Our global musical production teams will rotate as the weekly feature in ROOM 101, which will provide you with a diversity of musical eclecticism that will keep you coming back. Playlists will be posted on each Tuesday, the day after the Monday podcast is posted. For the best listening experience, check out the shows prior to checking out the playlists.
SCANNEd
is a project where we are debriefed by cultural and artistic agenda
setters. This segment features exclusive interviews and discussions with agenda
setters from around the world. You are now prompted to access information from this location.
IA RAID-io is a new type of Internet radio show that takes you on a musical/cultural journey and keeps the industrial, punk, goth, experimental, techno, jungle, new wave underground alive by fighting a war against genre fragmentation.
Every show will take you on a theme driven musical experience like none other. Impact Arena RAID-io will also present feature shows for new releases, special ops editions, and highlights from labels and independent artists.
We have launched this global offensive against the subculture genre splitters of Earth to defend the fact that we are one eclectic community of humans with different flavors comprised of many tastes, not a bunch of different art cliques dragging behind or chasing the latest trend or microgenre. We are all part of the timeless continuum of people who decided to step beyond the prescribed boundaries to experience other worlds devoid of the "mandates of cool" and subculture rock stars.
IA RAID-io supports of the following:
Our soundtrack music & sounds are proudly extracted from the Free Music Archive and Freesound.org. Also, each DJ Hell ROOM 101 segment features music from the Free Music Archive. We ask that you support independent music and sound design by being an artistic and/or monetary contributor to both orgs.
