We apologize for the delay on getting "Path" to you. Do to other obligations (now you know that the "other" obligations we spoke of was Darryl Hell producing the "Death In June: Behind the Mask" documentary) we've had to put the "Path" project on hold.

Now that "Behind the Mask" is out, we will continue with our vision to release "The Path of Maximum Resistance" as a live performance DVD, which we plan to shoot in Spring 2006 and release in Fall 2006.

Now that Abstinence is 20 YEARS OLD!, we are going to post, for free, some vintage tracks from before our signing to Furnace/Silent Records.

Stay tuned for info...you'll find the tracks here...

Below we are presenting a special edition
"Path of Maximum Resistance (Pepperspray Mix)"
here as a free download. It's kind of a huge file for those on a dial-up because it's a continuous performance...but it's worth it.

"The Path of Maximum Resistance" is a return to the pre-"Revolt of the Cyberchrist" Abstinence. It is a concept piece that wraps around the Twilight Zone episode "The Obsolete Man."
Combining experimental industrial, bombastic rhythms, powertools, dark ambient and harsh multi-layered noise, "Path" draws on the full range of the many visions of Abstinence.

The "Pepperspray mix" of "Path" is our special
treat to you for supporting us over the years.

"Path" clearly articulates the eternal problem of the state thwarting and demeaning the rights and the worth of the individual.

Make sure that you save it, because it contains
different layers & sounds, and is a completely
different mix from the release version.

Enjoy...and you're welcome. :)-
